Alana Camoça is an Adjunct Substitute Professor at the Defense and International Relations Department of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her scholarly interests include international political economy, Sino-Japanese relations, international security, and East Asian Security and Economic Relations. She received her bachelor degree in Political Science from Federal State University of Rio de Janeiro, her MA degree in International Political Economy from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and her PhD degree in International Political Economy from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She also acted as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of History at Columbia University in New York in the USA and the Department of International Public Policy at the University of Osaka in Osaka in Japan.
