Alistair Fraser is a Lecturer in the Dept of Geography, Maynooth University, Ireland. He is the author of Global Foodscapes: Oppression and Resistance in the Life of Food (Routledge, 2017) and, with Rob Kitchin, co-author of Slow Computing: Why We Need Balanced Digital Lives (Bristol University Press, 2021). His critical research on diverse aspects of the food system has been published in the Journal of Peasant Studies, Journal of Rural Studies, Geoforum, Human Geography, and the Annals of the American Association of Geographers.
