Alma Stankovic is an Attorney in the states of California and New York as well as the District of Columbia and has previously worked as a practicing attorney for high level NGOs, including the Clinton Foundation in New York and Public Counsel Law Center in Los Angeles, where she conducted legal advocacy, policy development, and litigation on behalf of immigrants and persons living in poverty. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of California Los Angeles (USA) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California (USA). She is currently completing her PhD thesis on Human Rights of Refugees at the University of Graz (Austria). Her research focuses on the topics of Human Rights, Migration, Transnational Governance, Citizenship, and Refugee Law.
