Author profile: Andreas Kuersten

Andreas Kuersten is a legal fellow with the US Department of Commerce (NOAA) working in international law. He has previously worked in defence and military law and held positions with the Navy and Air Force JAG Corps.  He has published with Joint Force Quarterly, the Cambridge Review of International Affairs, and the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy, among others.  Andreas has extensive education and experience in international relations and law. He received his BA in International Development Studies from UCLA, MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
