Author profile: Anne-Kathrin Kreft and Philipp Schulz

Anne-Kathrin Kreft is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Political Science at the University of Oslo. Her research focuses on gender-based and political violence in conflict-affected settings, women’s civil society mobilization, the socio-political consequences of armed conflict, Women Peace and Security framework and women’s rights.

Philipp Schulz is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Intercultural and International Studies (InIIS) at the University of Bremen. His research engages with the gender dynamics of political violence and armed conflict, with a specific focus on sexual violence, masculinities and sexualities. He is the author of Male Survivors of Wartime Sexual Violence: Perspectives from Northern Uganda (2020, University of California Press).
