Atsuko Watanabe is Associate Professor at Kanazawa University, Japan. Atsuko does research in Political Theory, International Relations, Political Geography, and Global Intellectual History. Her first monograph titled Japanese Geopolitics and the Western Imagination (Palgrave Macmillan) was published in 2019. Her latest publications have appeared, amongst others, in Telos and International Studies Perspectives, and Political Geography.
