Bintu Zahara Sakor is a Doctoral Researcher at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) with experience in international humanitarian programme and public policy management, sustainable development, peacebuilding, immigration, and women’s empowerment services on both national and international levels. Her research interests include Political and Economic Development in Sub-Saharan Africa; Demography, Youth Bulges and Security Challenges in West Africa and the Sahel, as well as Civil Wars and Post-conflict Dynamics. She holds a MSc in Conflict Resolution and a BA in International Relations with Applied Quantitative Method from the University of Essex. Her recent publications include a co-authored blog on ‘Russia and China Ambiguity Alliance in Africa’ (PRIO Blogs, 2022).
