Cai Wilkinson is Associate Professor in International Relations in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. Her research focuses on how gender and sexuality shape experiences, perceptions, and articulations of security. Cai is currently working on projects about the politics of LGBT human rights and “traditional values” in the post-Soviet space. Her work has been published in journals including Security Dialogue, Journal of Human Rights, and Critical Studies on Security.
