Author profile: Carsten Rauch

Carsten Rauch is Research Fellow at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF). He received his PhD from Goethe University, Frankfurt in 2013. His research has dealt with the rise and fall of great powers, revisionism in the international system, power transition theory and more generally, IR-theory, as well as Indian foreign policy. His book publications include Die Theorie des Demokratischen Friedens (Campus, 2005), and Das Konzept des friedlichen Machtübergangs (Nomos, 2014). He has also published articles in Security Studies, International Area Studies Review, European Review of International Studies and Zeitschrift für Friedens- und Konfliktforschung.
