Christian Crevels is a Brazilian anthropologist. He has been engaged in Indigenous causes and issues since 2010, especially regarding land and territory regulation and rights; interactions, prejudice and conflict among Indigenous Peoples and national society; and colonial, economic and social history of Indigenous Peoples and settlers of the Amazon. Up to 2017, he worked with the Madihadeni – an Indigenous group. He earned his Master’s thesis at the Universidade Federal do Amazonas, where he studied the history of Indigenous People from contrasting perspectives.
