Author profile: Chunjuan Nancy Wei

Chunjuan Nancy Wei chairs East Asian and Pacific Rim Studies program at the University of Bridgeport’s School of Public and International Affairs. She received her Ph.D. in political science from Claremont Graduate University in Southern California. A former Fulbright scholar in Taiwan and the Chinese Mainland, she has published on the cross-Taiwan Strait politics, U.S.-China relations, South China Sea disputes, and East Asian political economy in such journals as the Harvard Asia QuarterlyYale Journal of International Affairs, the Southeast Review of Asian Studies, The Diplomat,The Eurasia Review, Friends of Europe, and Yonsei Journal of International Affairs. She also co-edited the book Mr. Science and Chairman Mao’s Cultural Revolution: Science and Technology in Modern China. She has been interviewed by the VOA Russia, CGTN television networks and the Irish Moncrieff Show.
