Dr James Brassett is Reader in International Political Economy at the University of Warwick. He works on everyday discourses of global politics, resistance and humour. His most recent book is Affective Politics of the Global Event: Trauma and the Resilient Market Subject (Routledge, 2018).

 

Dr Christopher Browning is Reader in Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick. His most recent work analyses the concept of ontological security, exploring its explanatory potential in regard to cases such as the Paris attacks and Brexit, and the politics of nation branding, where most recently he co-edited a special issue of the journal Geopolitics (2017).
