Duncan Depledge completed his PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London in 2014, with a focus on the development of contemporary British policy towards the Arctic from a critical geopolitical perspective. He currently combines a post-doctoral teaching fellowship at Royal Holloway with his role managing the secretariat to the British All-Party Parliamentary Group for Polar Regions in Westminster. Previously, he also held a research position (2009-2014) on the Climate Change and Security Programme at the Royal United Services Institute.
