Eilidh Rose McEwan is currently a PhD candidate at the International Institute for Sign Languages and Deaf Studies, at the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, United Kingdom. Her research focuses on the capabilities of deaf people in Global South contexts, and the interrelation of capacity-building projects with capabilities realisation and agency.
