Erik Noreen is Associate Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies at Uppsala University. His research is centred around international security, military intervention, Swedish foreign and security policy, threat images and socialisation, and the security of the Baltic Sea states. He has published on these topics in journals such as European Journal of International Security, International Relations, and Journal of Peace Research, and in volumes published by Routledge, Ashgate, and the Johns Hopkins University Press.

Roxanna Sjöstedt is Associate Professor of Political Science at Lund University. Her research is centred around international security, military intervention, securitization, non-military threats, in particular epidemics, and the socialisation of minority rights norms. She has published on these topics in outlets such as European Journal of International Security, Security Studies, International Relations, Nationalism and Ethnic Politics, Journal of Peace Research, Journal of International Relations and Development, Security Dialogue, Cooperation and Conflict, and Foreign Policy Analysis.
