Felicia Yuwono is a Doctoral Researcher at the Department of War Studies, King’s College London, and a career diplomat with 16 years of service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. She represented Indonesia in multilateral negotiations on nuclear issues, including the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT), IAEA safeguards, nuclear security, Iran’s nuclear program, nuclear safety, peaceful nuclear applications, and technical cooperation. She also advised on multilateral issues related to outer space and cyberspace, as well as Indonesia’s 2019-2020 membership at the UN Security Council. Her research analyses how power works in multilateral nuclear disarmament diplomacy.
