Gehan Gunatilleke is a human rights lawyer based in Sri Lanka, and is the Research Director of Verité Research. He teaches post-graduate courses in human rights and democratisation at the University of Colombo. He is also the author of ‘Confronting the Complexity of Loss: Perspectives on Truth, Memory and Justice in Sri Lanka’ (2016) and ‘The Chronic and the Acute: Post-War Religious Violence in Sri Lanka’ (2015).
