Aida Hassan is a PhD student at Queen Mary University of London. Her research interests are broadly centred on postcolonial and critical perspectives of global health governance, including the challenges of liberal and state-centric norms in health emergencies.

Andreas Papamichail is a Lecturer in Global Health at Queen Mary University of London. Andreas’ teaching and research interests primarily focus on global health security and global health governance. He is interested in critical and postcolonial approaches to global health governance, and examining the adverse (intended or unintended) effects of global health policy, especially on minoritized communities and on the majority world.
