Ian Reynolds is a PhD Candidate at American University, School of International Service. His broad research interests focus on the relationship between digital technologies and international security. More specifically, his dissertation explores the history and cultural politics of artificial intelligence and its relationship with military command and control practices in the United States. He is also a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Internet Governance Lab and a Research Associate at the Center for Security Innovation and New Technology, both housed at American University.
