Jaakko Heiskanen is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the School of Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London. He previously worked at the University of Cambridge, where he completed his PhD in 2020. His research interests lie at the intersection of international relations, nationalism studies, and conceptual history. Products of his research have been published in Global Studies Quarterly, International Theory, Journal of Political Ideologies, Cooperation and Conflict, and International Political Sociology.
