Jasmin Lilian Diab is a Researcher and Consultant in the areas of Conflict, Migration and Gender. She is a Research Associate at the Global Health Institute at the American University of Beirut, working under their Research for Health in Conflict Project’s Political Economy of Health workstream. She is also the MENA Regional Focal Point on Migration of the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth. Ms. Diab is completing a PhD in International Relations and Diplomacy at the esteemed Centre d’Etudes Diplomatiques et Stratégiques (HEIP/INSEEC U.) in France.

Fouad M. Fouad is an assistant Professor of Public Health Practice at the American University of Beirut. His current research interests focus on the forced displaced population with special interest on the Syrian refugee crisis. Fouad is a Principle Investigator and Co-Investigator of several projects on health in protracted and armed conflicts. He served as a commissioner in two Lancet Commissions; AUB Lancet Commission on Syria and the crises in global governance, health and aid; and UCL Lancet Commission on Migration and Health.
