Jeremi Suri is a professor of history and public affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, where he holds the Mack Brown Distinguished Chair for Leadership in Global Affairs. He is the author of five books on history, politics, and foreign policy, including Power and Protest: Global Revolution and the Rise of Detente. Professor Suri has published in numerous journals, newspapers, magazines, and online venues. He frequently appears on radio and television, and he is an avid blogger.
