Jonna Nyman is Lecturer in International Politics at the University of Sheffield, UK. Her research centres on the politics and ethics of security, with particular interests in Chinese security politics as well as energy and climate policy. She’s currently writing a book about Chinese security politics. Her recent publications include: ‘Towards a global security studies, what can looking at China tell us about the concept of security?’ (2023), ‘What does security look like? Exploring interpretive photography as method’ (2023) and ‘The everyday life of security: capturing space, practice, and affect’ (2021).
