Dr Joseph Downing works at the European Institute, LSE. He is a Fellow Nationalism at the LSE and has been a Marie Curie Fellow at the CNRS in Marseille, France and SOAS, University of London.

Sarah Gerwens is a PhD candidate at the European Institute, LSE. She draws on critical race theory and critical whiteness studies to research institutional discrimination and discourses on race and “diversity” in German schooling.

Dr Richard Dron works at the Salford Business School, University of Salford. He is a lecturer in digital business and has published extensively on social network analysis, digital marketing and social media.
