Leny Olivera is a Bolivian feminist activist and student of sociology who has been involved since 2000 in groups working in defense of natural resources and autonomous women groups fighting racist, class and gender violence. She works at the Democracy Center and is co-author of the project “Climate Change is About…Women” and author of this recent article.
The community of María Auxiliadora is an example of women’s experiences and looks to create the conditions to confront violence against women and climate change.
