Lewis Eves is a PhD researcher and Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, specialising in International Security Studies and Sino-Japanese relations. His current research focuses on the role of history as an underlying political issue that may lead to renewed tensions and hostility in the relationship between China and Japan. He previously studied MA International Security Studies and BA International Relations and History at the University of Leicester and is an alumnus of the Ambitious Futures programme for university leadership.
