Lorcán Owens is a podcaster, educator, researcher and writer. He holds an M.A. in Political Communication from Dublin City University (Ireland). He undertook his MA thesis research in Lebanon in June 2018, where he examined the communication of secularism as a political movement in Lebanon. He frequently visits Lebanon and the MENA region and was most recently there during the thawra in November 2019. Lorcán runs a podcast where he discusses Lebanon, the MENA region and other geopolitical topics with a wide range of guests.
