Lívia Peres Milani holds a doctorate in International Relations from the Interinstitutional Graduate Program in International Relations San Tiago Dantas from the UNESP, UNICAMP, PUC-SP universities. Currently, she develops post-doctorate research at Unesp, funded by CAPES, process number nº 88887.310463/2018-00, mobility number 88887.583366/2020-00. She is a member of the National Institute of Science and Technology for Studies on the United States (INCT-INEU) and the Grupo de Estudos de Defesa e Segurança Internacional (GEDES).

Luciana Wietchikoski is an International Relations Professor at the Unisinos University. She holds Postdoctoral in Graduate International Relations Program in Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Ph.D. and Master’s degrees from the Graduate Political Science Program (UFRGS) and a BA in History from Passo Fundo University and is a Member of the Research Group in Strategic Studies and International Politics (GEPPIC/UFSC) (GEPPIC/UFSC) and the Studies Group on Security and International Politics (UFRGS). Her current research interests are US-Latin American relations; US security foreign policy in South America; international constructions of ideas about Brazil; and think tanks in a comparative perspective.
