Luisa Feline Freier is Associate Professor of Social and Political Science at the Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Peru. Her research interests include migration and refugee policies and laws in Latin America, international agreements on migration and asylum, and south-south migration. She received her PhD in Political Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Soledad Castillo Jara is Research Assistant at the Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Peru. She holds a BA in Political Science and Government from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). Her research interests include migration policies, foreign policy and international relations.
