Maia Hallward is Professor of Middle East Politics at Kennesaw State University and Chief Editor of the Journal of Peacebuilding and Development, a triannual peer-reviewed journal at the nexus of peacebuilding and development. She is author of Transnational Activism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (Palgrave Macmillan 2013) and Struggling for a Just Peace: Israeli and Palestinian Activism in the Second Intifada (University of Florida Press 2011) and co-author of Understanding Nonviolence (Polity Press 2015), Understanding International Conflict Management (Routledge, 2020) and NGOs and Human Rights: Comparing Faith-Based and Secular Approaches (University of Georgia Press, forthcoming 2021).
