Author profile: Marcelo de Araujo and Pedro Fior Mota de Andrade

Marcelo de Araujo is Professor of Ethics at the State University of Rio de Janeiro and Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He received his Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Konstanz, Germany, in 2002. The author benefited from a research stay at the Goethe University Frankfurt, Research Center Normative Orders, in 2024.

Prof. Dr. Pedro Fior Mota de Andrade holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Konstanz. He is currently postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Law of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (PPGD-UFRJ) and Philosophy Lecturer at the Department of Animal Science and Veterinary School of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia (IFRO). He has been working and publishing on the topics of Ethics, Bioethics, Political Philosophy, Theories of Justice, Climate Ethics and Climate Justice.
