Author profile: Matthew Bolton and Cayman Mitchell

Matthew Bolton is an assistant professor of political science at Pace University New York City. He is the Membership Secretary for the International Committee for Robot Arms Control, a founding organization of the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots. His research focuses on global disarmament and arms control policy, particularly regarding landmines, cluster munitions, the Arms Trade Treaty, and robotic weapons. He is the author of Foreign Aid and Landmine Clearance and co-edited Occupying Political Science.

 

Cayman Mitchell is a recent Pace University graduate and 2018 J.D. candidate at Harvard Law School. He is currently taking a deferral year and working at United Methodist Women’s Global Justice Office to the United Nations. His research interests include autonomous military weapons, the impact of the arts on politics and peace studies, and international and humanitarian law.
