Matthew S. Weinert is Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Delaware. He is the author of Democratic Sovereignty (University College London, 2007), and Making Human: World Order and the Global Governance of Human Dignity (University of Michigan, 2015). His research focuses on the development of architectures of (global) governance that emerge at the intersection of state interests and human well-being.
