Author profile: Kenia María Ramírez Meda and Adriana Teresa Moreno-Gutiérrez

Kenia María Ramirez Meda is a professor at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC). She received her doctorate in Trans-Pacific Relations from the University of Colima. She is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI-Conacyt, Level 1), a member of the Mexican Network for International Development Cooperation (REMECID) and a member of the Academic Network of Latin America and the Caribbean on China. She serves as vice president of PECC-Mexico for the academic sector.

Adriana Teresa Moreno-Gutiérrez is a doctoral student in Government and Public Policy at the Autonomous University of Baja California. She earned a Master’s of Public Administration at UABC and a Master’s in Education at Universidad del Valle de México. She teaches public administration of Baja California at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC). Her research areas are migration, vulnerability, and public policies.
