Mithlesh Jayas Mukherji has a doctorate in Political Science from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. She has been a faculty at Department of Politics and International Studies, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry and St. Ann’s College for Women, Osmania University, Hyderabad. Her areas of research are gender studies, Indian politics and international relations. Dr. Mukherji is a recipient of the Nehru Research Fellowship, from the Center for Nehru Studies, Aligarh Muslim University in 2004 and is also a recipient of the US Scholarship on US Foreign Policy (Study of United States Institutes for scholars on US Foreign Policy, SUSI, 2021) sponsored by the US Department of State. She is a member of Indian Political Science Association (IPSA) and has been a Joint Secretary of South zone (IPSA).
