Author profile: Mitu Sengupta

Dr. Mitu Sengupta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration, at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada.  Her research focuses on global political economy, international development theory and ethics, and the politics and political economy of South Asia. Mitu also serves as Global Coordinator for the Centre for Development and Human Rights (CDHR), a non-governmental organization based in New Delhi, India, and is a director of Academics Stand Against Poverty (ASAP), an international network, founded at Yale University, that aims to leverage the resources of academia towards the end of eradicating global poverty.​
