Author profile: Mizan R. Khan

Mizan R. Khan is Professor of Environmental Management at North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his PhD from the School of Public Policy, University of Maryland, USA, and has previously held positions at Brown University, University of Manitoba, Université de Poitiers and the University of Calcutta. His recent work consists of a wide range of publications on environmental issues and climate change, including two recent books: Towards a Binding Climate Change Adaptation Regime: A Proposed Framework (London & New York: Routledge, 2014, 2015) and Power in a Warming World: The New Politics of Climate Change and the Remaking of Environmental Inequality (Cambridge: MIT Press, 2015) – the latter co-authored with David Ciplet and J. Timmons Roberts. In addition to his academic work, he has formed part of the Bangladeshi delegation to IPCCC negotiations since 2001.
