Monica Trigos Padilla is an MPA Candidate at Columbia University (USA). She has a BA in International Relations from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) (Mexico). She has also completed studies in Public Policy, Public Diplomacy, and Immigration and Refugee Policy. She has worked in the private, public, and social sectors in Mexico. She is the Co-Founder and Deputy Director of the collective ‘Sin Palabras’ dedicated to giving art, theater, and introspection workshops to migrants and refugees. She also serves as the Regional Focal Point of North America and the Shaping Narratives Lead in the Migration Working Group of the United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth (UNMGCY). She is an Associate and Member of the Board of Directors of the Youth Program of the Mexican Council of Foreign Affairs (COMEXI).
