Nasir Almasri is a Postdoctoral Scholar with the Society of Fellows at Boston University. He received a PhD in Political Science from MIT and was a Predoctoral Scholar in the Middle East Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School. He also served as a Graduate Fellow at the Middle East Institute. His research sits at the intersection of comparative politics, security studies, and international relations with a particular emphasis on opposition movements in the Middle East and North Africa.
