Olena Ishchenko is a Researcher at the Museum of Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine in Dnipro. In 1992–2017 she worked as a professorial assistant in the Department of the History of Ukraine, O. Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University. Her academic research covers interethnic relations in Soviet Ukraine, Joseph Stalin’s anti-Semitic policies in post-war USSR, and Jewish education and upbringing.
