Omer Tekdemir is Visiting Lecturer at the Departments of Politics and International Relations, University of Westminster, and Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Coventry’s Centre for Trust, Peace, and Social Relations. He was a visiting academic in political economy at Durham University, Business School (2014-15) after his PhD at the School of Government and International Affairs at Durham’s Ustinov College. He researches on political theory, political economy, international relations, identity, democracy, as well as the Middle Eastern, Turkey and Kurdish studies.
