Ramu C.M. is a Ph.D Candidate at the Department of Geopolitics and International Relations, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Deemed-to-be-University), Karnataka, India. His working thesis is entitled “The Geopolitics of Hydrocarbons across the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Basin: A Study on Geopolitical Imperatives and Policy Implications”. His primary research interests are: The Geopolitics of Energy and Natural Resources (particularly Hydrocarbons), the Middle East, Transcaucasia and Central Asia.
