Author profile: Richard Ned Lebow and Feng Zhang

Richard Ned Lebow is James O Freedman Presidential Professor Emeritus at Dartmouth College, Professor Emeritus of International Political Theory at King’s College London, and Honorary Fellow of Pembroke College, University of Cambridge. He is visiting professor at the University of Siena and the European University Institute. His most recent books are Justice and International Order: East and West (Oxford University Press, 2022), coauthored with Feng Zhang, Robustness and Fragility of Political Orders  (Cambridge University Press, 2022), and Weimar’s Long Shadow (Cambridge University Press, 2024), the last two coedited with Norman Ludvig.

Feng Zhang is a visiting scholar at Yale Law School’s Paul Tsai China Center and a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at Tsinghua University’s Center for International Security and Strategy. His research spans China’s foreign policy, Asian international relations, and international relations theory. His most recent books are Taming Sino-American Rivalry (2020) and Justice and International Order: East and West (Oxford University Press, 2022), both coauthored with Richard Ned Lebow.
