Robert Mihara is a US Army major currently serving in Afghanistan as a strategic planner. He earned a B.S. in International/Strategic History from the US Military Academy in 1999, and a M.A. in US History from Texas A&M University in 2007. He served in various line assignments before teaching at West Point from 2007 to 2010. He is currently researching the history of the French-Algerian War (1954-1962).
