Salih Doğan is a researcher on International Relations and Political Science with particular reference to Security Studies, Eurasia and South Asia. His main fields of interest are Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Central Asian countries, Taliban, al-Qaeda, International Security and Terrorism. He also has a keen interest in Turkish Politics, Turkish Foreign Policy, Kurdish Issue, and PKK.

Currently Salih is a PhD student within the School of Politics and International Relations at Keele University, United Kingdom. He also holds a Research Assistant position at Turgut Özal University in Ankara, Turkey. He lives in Ankara, Turkey and Birmingham, UK.
