Author profile: Sandra Kröger

Sandra Kröger is a lecturer at the politics department of the University of Exeter. From 2008-2011, she was lecturer at the Jean Monnet Center for European Studies (CEuS) at the University of Bremen, and from 2011-2013 a Marie Curie Fellow in Exeter. Her main research interests are legitimacy, democracy, and particularly political representation in the multi-level system of the EU, with a specific focus on civil society organizations and national parliaments. She has extensively published on issues of political representation in the EU. Related books and articles have appeared with Palgrave, Routledge, Oxford University Press, the Journal of European Public Affairs, Parliamentary Affairs, and the Journal of European Integration.
