Sara K. McGuire is Assistant Professor of Security Studies and Associate Director for Teaching and Learning of the National Security Studies Institute at the University of Texas at El Paso.  She holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from McMaster University and an LLM in International Public and Comparative Law from the University of Exeter.  Dr. McGuire has presented papers at over 20 academic conferences and has published in the Journal of Strategic Security and in an anthology published by Dalhousie University.
