Sarah Furman (she/her) is a Research Assistant at the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership. She is currently studying a double degree with a Bachelor of International Relations and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in French Language and Culture) at the Australian National University.

Dr. Elise Stephenson is the Deputy Director of the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership. She is also a researcher in the National Security College, Australian Centre for Space Governance, and Fulbright fellow on diversity in the space sector at the University of Washington. She is co-convenor of Australia’s first ever conference on gender equality in the space sector, and is currently working with the Australian Space Agency to develop a diversity and inclusion statement for the Australian space sector.
