Tamanisha J. John is a Ph.D. student at Florida International University (FIU) awaiting the results of her comprehensive examinations before the dissertation proposal stage. At FIU she studies Caribbean island economies and the effects of external foreign policies on those states. She completed her Master’s at FIU, with a thesis that focused on Canada’s Banking Dominance in the Caribbean Region.
