Thomas Sommerer is Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, Stockholm University. He is interested in the study of international organizations, policy diffusion, and performance and legitimacy in global governance. His work has been published by leading IR journals (International Organization, Review of International Organizations; Journal of Peace Research) and he co-authored the book ‘The Opening Up of International Organizations’ (Cambridge University Press 2013).
